Grand Bees Development LLC is planning a new
residential development, with approx. 350 units, on the land shown
on the maps below.
A variety of homes is proposed, Single Family, Multi-Family,
and some lots for Custom Building.
Most lots will be 70 ft. wide with some 40
ft wide lots and other larger lots.
A new road, Grand Bees Drive, is to be built from the Hamilton
Grove circle to Bees Ferry Blvd.
When this road is completed the traffic lights
at Grand Oaks Blvd and Bees Ferry Blvd will be moved to this location. Grand Bees Drive
will have double left turn lanes exiting onto Bees Ferry, which should aleviate the
present traffic congestion on Grand Oaks Blvd at rush hours.
Some Grand Oaks
residents will have about 1/2 mile further to travel, but the additional lanes should
eliminate most of the present delays.
Construction is expected to start later
this year.
The Builders for this project have not yet been decided. More information
will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
